Weekly Challenge #4: Birthday Sketch Challenge

Thia is a picture of the sketch that we had to make our design look like.
This is what I made.

I cant wait to add picture to this project. My daughter 7th birthday is coming up. Theme Barbie fashion tale. Pretty cool huh. I used rhinestones on the cake. And you cant tell but the blue circle has a swirl design embossed on it. I really love working on this project. I added two button to it, which was my first time to sew or stitch buttons on paper. Add a different look to the project had from working on it but now back to school work. LOL

Boo Challenge Cricut Circle!

Okay so this is what I did for the Boo Challenge. Well over the summer I went to the Harry Potter theme park and I am going to make a scrapbook of those pictures. So for the challenge I made the cover that is going to be my scrapbook. I used acrylic sheets I pick up from my local hardware store. The front part of the cover is of a gate with candles and the title "The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter", this was fun to make with gypsy for I used the greenery on the October 31st cartridge and attached the Letters to it or should I say weld. The you are able to open the gates and enter into the world. When you open the gate you will see the Hogwarts castle, the spider, and the Whomping Willow. The gate page is attached with colored rings that are the color of the Gryffindor house. I had so much fun making this and experiment with new materials that I have never worked with before. I hope you enjoy looking at it as much as I had creating it.

Cricut Circle idea used for teacher gifts.

I used the idea that the cricut circle blog gave on how to make a shaker. I used the idea and instead of making a card I made the punkin face and used sprinkles and then tied Pens to the back for my daughter's teachers. Just a little gift for Halloween.

Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #3

This is what I created for the weekly challenge this week. It was a little bit harder to do then I thought it would be. I cut out every leave and glue it together. You cant really tell in the picture but there is texture on the acorns as well as the brown paper in the middle. The background of the letters is grey. I enjoyed working on this piece but I do have to say it was good effored and work but into it.

Anniversary Challenge

This is the card I made for the Cricut Couple Anniversary Challenge. I made this for my daughter who likes the peacock off of  "The Barbie and The Island Princess."  I wanted to tell her that I love her so as you can see that was the saying I used. I used gypsy font. I also used my new cartridge French Manor and used the Peacock cut and the peacock border cut. I also used the crown of that cartridge. I used Martha Stewart glitter. I also made the peacock stand off the page using foam, it rose it up. If you know the movie then you know why I used the crowns. Hope you enjoy this card, I had fun making it!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

Weekly Challenge #2: THINK PINK!

This is the scrapbook page I created for this weeks challenge.  I incorporated glitter, jewels, and pink.  For Breast Cancer Awareness month, I used the "ribbon" symbol on the dress and the hat in gold glitter.  I really liked working on this page and was excited to enter my first Cricut Circle Contest.  I used Forever Young, Home Decor, and the Home Accents cartridges.
